American River Music Festival | Sept 14-16 |
A celebration of music and moving water, this festival is held on the banks of the beautiful
South Fork of the American River, in the Gold Country east of Sacramento, in Coloma. Artists include Birds of
Chicago, Wheeler Bros., Tony Furtado, Joe Craven Trio, Poorman’s Whiskey and so much more. Activities

Burning Uke X Campout | Sept 20-22 |
Little Basin Campground, Boulder Creek. Price: $80 for entire weekend
(includes most meals) (Thursday through Sunday). Campsite includes showers, flushing toilets,
full kitchen, campsites, etc. Ukulele and other music workshops all day
Friday and Saturday, with a special sing-along on Sunday morning led by Rick Zeek and Rhan Wilson.

Harvest Festival of Dulcimers | Sept 22 |
Sponsored by the Southern California Dulcimer Heritage. This festival is for hammered and
mountain dulcimers. Guest artists this year include Andy Young (Hammered Dulcimer) and Aaron O’Rourke
