SFFMC's annual Solstice, Hanukkah, Christmas and other observations of the holiday season party is Friday, December 18, at 885 Clayton. Bring favorite seasonal treats-cookies, cakes, fruit, cheese, crackers and such-along with good cheer and appropriate songs. Both non-alcoholic and with-wine grog is provided by the Club. I am currently writing a book on contemporary cittern playing aimed at the beginner and the guitar convert.
This will be a nonprofit book, and all proceeds will be redirected to support young musicians (under 25) playing traditional music in the north of England. Contributors will be fully credited, and will receive a copy of the completed book, but there will be no royalties. SRFN, the publishers have already succesfully published two books of 17th & 18th century manuscript tunes on this basis, and workshops, festival events, and a childrens traditional music project have been set up using the funds raised in this way.
I am looking for tunings, chord charts, chord lists etc., especially from anyone playing in tuning ADADE,although all info would be gratefully received. I look forward to hearing from anyone out there who can help.

Jody Stecher is producing a CD for bluegrasser Chris Brashera at Mike Cogan's Bay Records recording studio in Berkeley.
