The Festival dates have changed: to the third weekend-March 20 &21. A Cajun dance with Suzy Thompson kicks things off Friday night. Saturday will start at 10:00 a.m.and include an afternoon concert with a number of artists. Saturday evening will be the only BayArea concert of Doc Watson and David Grisman celebrating their new CD.
There will be a variety of instrumental and dance workshops along with mini concerts throughout the day on Saturday, with a lot of emphasis on children's events including our Kids for Kids Concert, a jug band Workshop, story telling, playparty and a concert especially for children. The new Folk Society artistic director for the festival is Steve DeLap. More details will be given in a later issue.
